Even though she wasn't able to compete anymore, she continued her love of gymnastics by continuing to coach. In the fall of 2013, she was the assistant coach of the Menomonie Middle School gymnastics team. She took the head coaching job in 2014 and continued that job in the 2015-2016 school year. She signed on for the Executive Director position with us in 2016 and is very excited to be doing what she loves!

Ava has been in gymnastics since 2010 and always loved sport! She ended her gymnastics career on the competition teams for OGC in 2019. Ava's hobbies are doing other sports like volleyball and track. She also loves to hang out with friends and play with makeup!

I was a high school letter winner 3 years in St. James. I have coached rec classes since 2010 and became a Training Team coach in 2012. My daughter was a member of OGC’s competition team. I love coaching because I enjoy helping the kids believe that they can do anything!
To help channel her inner monkey, Valerie’s mother enrolled her in gymnastics when she was 5 and she was hooked. 10 competitive years later, with 1 State All-Round title and 2 back-to-back State Vault titles to her name, she retired from gymnastics to focus on school sports. Gymnastics made a brief return to Val’s life as a walk-on to the Saluki Cheerleading Squad her freshman year at Southern Illinois University – Carbondale. Now years later, with two little monkeys of her own, Val decided to introduce them to her early passion and found herself back at home in the gym. When Britney approached her about coaching for Spring 2017, it was a no brainer. Val loves watching young children experience gymnastics for the first time and seeing them develop strength and confidence with each passing week. She is so proud to be a part of this amazing organization!
Tara started gymnastics in 1st grade and competed through High School here as a Husky gymnast. She started coaching at the age of 14- she is definitely an experienced coach and loves sharing her knowledge with the kids to help them grow and improve!

Outside of gymnastics Emily enjoys diving and is a peer helper for Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Natasha still regrets that decision.

Chey then joined the HS team and competed with them for 3 years. In 2021 she decided to end her competitive career and started coaching to fulfill her love for the sport.
Bella has been involved in gymnastics since she was around 2 years old and loved the sport, but quit because she was afraid of beam. She loves coaching because being around little kids has always been something she's enjoyed doing. Bella loves seeing them improve, grow up, and loves being able to be a role model for them. Her hobbies include running, shopping, and hanging out with her friends.
Hannah has been in gymnastics since 2008 and still does gymnastics for the club. She loves to coach because she gets to see the kids learn and progress over the weeks and watching them have fun.
